Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) is a corporation duly organized and existing under Philippine law and listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). As of December 31, 2025, Citicore Power, Inc. (CP) owns 50.04% of CREC’s outstanding stock. CPI, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, directly and through its subsidiaries and joint ventures, manages a diversified portfolio of renewable energy generation projects, power project development operations, and retail electricity supply.
In 2021, CREC launched the AgroSolar program, which allows farmers to plant crops on land within the Company’s solar farms. In 2022, the company’s subsidiary, Citicore Energy REIT Corp. (CREIT) was listed on the PSE as an energy focused real estate investment trust. That same year, CREC energized the 72 megawatt (MW) first phase of the Arayat-Mexico Solar, a joint venture with ACEN CORPORATION. In 2023, Citicore won 792 MW or equivalent to 24% of the total wind and solar capacities awarded during the Department of Energy’s second Green Energy Auction. That year, CREIT issued its ASEAN Green Bond, while CREC also energized the 44 MW second phase of Arayat-Mexico Solar. Then, in 2024, CREC and Citicore Solar Tarlac, Inc. sold a 28.79% interest in CREIT worth P5 billion to SM Investments Corp.
The Citicore Group continues to grow its portfolio of renewable energy power plants, having developed, operated and maintained 14 operating solar assets with a combined gross installed capacity of 597.2 MW as of December 31, 2025. CREC has a target to achieve 5 GW of combined gross installed capacity in the next five years.
