(ROX), doing business under the name and style of CADP Group, was organized in the Philippines and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 30, 1930 for the purpose of holding and investing in corporations engaged in the business of manufacturing sugar and allied products. On August 8, 1996, the shares of stock of the Company were listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Through the years, ROX became an integrated sugar company that has expanded its business interests to include bioethanol and co-generation. The Company's subsidiaries are Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Inc.; Central Azucarera de la Carlota, Inc.; CADP Insurance Agency, Inc.; Roxol Bioenergy Corp.; CADP Port Services, Inc.; RHI Agri-Business Development Corporation; Roxas Pacific Bioenergy Corporation; RHI Pacific Commercial Corp.; San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc.; Roxas Power Corporation; and Northeastern Port Storage Corporation.
